And finally the sun!

So who would believe it - a heat wave in what is reputedly the summer season. Not that one is complaining - though it did make any kind of movement distinctly unwise! I have been in the studio, at least off and on, over the last few months and have now finished three of the BIG colour landscapes inspired by the artist I bumped into in Seattle last year. I'm really enjoying the freedom and impact of the style - and think the outcome is good. I've also been pushing on through the opening Canto of the women's book. Clara is well established and beginning to direct the narrative as these characters do tend to do. She has just met her nemesis, and her lover so yes things are definitely beginning to hot up!
