Spring is nearly here!

Well, the sun is just beginning to warm the edges and make everything seem possible again. A much needed relief from all the darkness!

I've already completed three chapters of the Women's Book and also finished the second of the new series of paintings. BIG colours! I went up to London over the weekend - within a few hundred yards of the terror attack, which put things into a slightly different perspective - and visited the David Hockney exhibition. I was delighted to be reminded of his big colour landscapes of America and Yorkshire - indeed felt somehow vindicated! Also saw the American depression pictures at the RA. Superb - especially the two by Hopper. Just beginning to feel there are some exciting times ahead. On all fronts!
